Inspired by the Hohokam Indians’ ancient irrigation canals, Amoros’ hung luminescent LED tubes from the Soleri Bridge extending 80 feet west of its base, using her experience building similar installations in New York, Beijing, amd more. Not only is the result a physics-defying light show, but it creates a place for communal appreciation of the natural world. “It’s fascinating how people in the community are embracing it,” she tells
